1. Acceptance of These Terms

By creating an account and using Sah-AnAI™, you agree to the terms below. They describe how your data and documents are stored, and how they are processed when you use our AI features. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Storage of Your Data on Our Servers

You agree that the data you enter into Sah-AnAI™ — including farm records, tasks, financial entries, inventory, and tracking data — is stored on servers operated by us. Your data is kept in an isolated database schema dedicated to your space and is never mixed with another farm's data. You remain the owner of your data and may export it or request its deletion at any time.

3. Storage of Your Documents on Our Servers

You agree that the documents and files you upload to Sah-AnAI™ are stored on storage infrastructure operated by us. These documents are kept for as long as your account is active, and may be retained afterwards where required for legal or audit purposes. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and store any document you add to the platform.

4. Sharing Data With AI Providers

When you use the AI features of Sah-AnAI™ (such as AI-generated reports and insights), the relevant farm data is sent to third-party large language model (LLM) providers — currently Anthropic (Claude) — to produce the result you requested. This sharing happens only when you explicitly use an AI feature; no data is sent to an AI provider otherwise. By using these features, you consent to this processing. AI providers handle the data under their own terms and do not use it to train their models on your behalf.

5. AI Outputs Are Not Advice

AI-generated reports, insights, and recommendations are produced automatically and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. They are provided for information only and do not constitute professional, agronomic, financial, veterinary, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for any decision you make and should independently verify any AI output before relying on it.

6. Ownership of Your Content and AI Outputs

You retain all ownership of the content you create or upload to Sah-AnAI™. We claim no ownership over it. Any reports, insights, or other outputs generated by our AI features from your data belong to you — we do not assert any ownership or licence over them beyond what is needed to operate the platform and deliver the result to you. We process your content only to provide and maintain the service.

7. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for keeping your account credentials secure. Where you enter personal data about other people — such as employees, workers, or contacts — you confirm that you have the legal right and any necessary consent to do so. You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in any way that infringes the rights of others.

8. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Content

You are solely and fully responsible for all content you upload, store, or generate through Sah-AnAI™, and for ensuring it is lawful. You must not use the platform to upload, store, or share content that is illegal or harmful — including, without limitation, content that is defamatory, obscene, or pornographic; child sexual abuse material or any content that depicts, exploits, endangers, or promotes violence against minors; content that promotes or facilitates terrorism or violent extremism, or that incites violence, hatred, or discrimination of any kind (including on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, disability, or sexual orientation); content that harasses or threatens others; content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights; or content that contains malware. We do not monitor content proactively, but we may remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that breaches this clause or applicable law, without notice and without liability to you. You agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from content you provide or from your misuse of the platform.

9. Changes to the Service

We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform, including features and third-party integrations, at any time and without notice. We may also update these Terms; significant changes will be communicated, and continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, nor for any loss of data, profits, crops, or business arising from your use of — or inability to use — the platform. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, which may be zero where the service is provided free of charge. You remain responsible for keeping your own backups of critical data.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms, and any dispute arising from your use of the platform, are governed by the laws of Madagascar — including Law No. 2014-024 on electronic transactions, Law No. 2014-038 on the protection of personal data (overseen by the Commission Malagasy de l'Informatique et des Libertés, CMIL), and Law No. 2015-014 on consumer protection. The Malagasy courts having territorial jurisdiction over the operator's registered office shall have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings before your local courts. Before any formal proceedings, you agree to contact us so that we can attempt to resolve the matter amicably.

12. Business Transfer & Successors

If our business, or the part of it that operates Sah-AnAI™, is sold, merged, or otherwise transferred, your data, documents, and these Terms may be transferred to the successor as part of that transaction. Any such successor will be bound by terms at least as protective as these, and your rights over your data and content will continue to apply. We will inform you of any change of operator that materially affects how your data is handled.

13. Acknowledgment

By continuing to use Sah-AnAI™, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms of Use in full — including the storage of your data and documents on our servers, the sharing of data with AI providers when you use AI features, the disclaimers regarding AI outputs, the limitations of liability, and the governing law set out above.
